Who we are

Simphoukham LLC operates simphoukham.com and the Team of One course. You can reach us any time at starbuck@simphoukham.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into a form or a checkout.

• Free lesson form. Your email address, and nothing else.
• Contact form. Your name, company, email address, the services you select, and whatever you write in the message box.
• Course purchase. Your name and email address. Payment happens on Stripe's own checkout page. We never see or store your card number.
• Site analytics. If advertising is running, the Meta Pixel records page views and actions such as viewing the course page or starting a checkout. It is disabled unless a pixel id is configured.

We do not buy lists, we do not enrich your record with data from other sources, and we do not ask for anything we do not need.

How we use it

To send you what you asked for, to answer you, to deliver a course you bought, and to tell you about our own work. That is the whole list. We do not sell your personal information.

Who else processes it

We use a small number of vendors, each handling only what their job requires.

• Vercel hosts the site and processes ordinary server request logs. It also counts page views and the sites people arrive from. That counting sets no cookies and records nothing that identifies you.
• Resend stores contacts and sends our email, including delivery and open information.
• Stripe processes payments and holds the payment record.
• Meta receives advertising events from the pixel when advertising is running. If you type an email address or phone number into a form on a page where the pixel is active, the pixel also sends Meta a hashed version of it — scrambled by your browser before it leaves, and not reversible — so Meta can tell whether you arrived from one of our ads. Meta does not receive the address itself.

Email, and how to stop it

Course emails are their own subscription topic, so you can leave the course sequence without losing anything else, or leave everything at once. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and it takes effect immediately. You can also reply and ask, and we will do it by hand.

Mail about a course you have already paid for, such as setup instructions and the joining link, is sent because you bought a seat rather than because you subscribed.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no cookies of its own. When advertising is running, the Meta Pixel sets its own cookies to attribute ad performance. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser, or any standard content blocker, stops it, and the site works normally without it.

The pixel also uses a Meta feature called Automatic Advanced Matching. If you enter an email address or phone number on a page where the pixel is running, your browser turns it into a one-way hash and sends that instead of the real value. Meta compares the hash against its own records to work out whether an ad brought you here. We never send your actual email address, and the hash cannot be turned back into it. Blocking third-party cookies or using a content blocker stops this as well as the cookies.

How long we keep it

Contact and subscriber records are kept until you ask us to remove them. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

Write to starbuck@simphoukham.com and ask for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or a deletion. We will do it. Depending on where you live you may have a formal right to these things, and we apply the same practice either way.

Children

The site and the course are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
